Diagnosis First – $240 + GST

All A/C enquiries begin with a formal diagnostic assessment.

This includes:

  • System pressure evaluation
  • Leak detection testing
  • Electrical integrity checks
  • Performance testing under load
  • Scan tool interrogation where applicable (additional cost if required)

This ensures faults are accurately identified before any repair is carried out.

If you proceed with repairs, the diagnostic fee is credited toward the final invoice.

Car A/C Regas

Refrigerant is not consumed during normal operation.

If a system is low, there is typically a leak or underlying fault.

For this reason, a regas is only performed when:

  • The system is confirmed leak-free
  • All components are functioning correctly
  • Recharge is technically appropriate
  • R134a regas pricing typically ranges from $220–$320 + GST, depending on system capacity.

Performed only after assessment.

  • If a leak is identified, repairs must be completed before recharge.
